Tap Dance 2024/2025 (Kids/Teens/Adults)
Warm-up, ankles softness, combination of basic steps, accuracy and strength of the steps, rhythm and musicality, building a choreography, dancing on a stage. With jazz and world music, pop-rock, … Explaination of the levels :
Level Beginner 1 : No experrience required but motivation at it’s best !
Level Beginner 2 : Being familiar with Shuffles, Flaps et Ball-Changes (the 3 very basics). Knowledge of the Shim Sham Shimmy. Having at least one or two years of experience.
Level Middle : Being familiar with Shuffles, Flaps, Ball-Changes, Back-Flaps and Drawbacks, as well as the basic combinaisons (Time Steps, Off-Beat rhythms, …). Handling binary and ternary rhythms (Swing). Having at least three or four years of experience.
Level Advanced 3 : Working on riffles and swing (and knowing the material from lower levels). Having at least five or six years of experience and pick up the combinaisons quickly.
Level Advanced 4 : Professionnal and semi-professionnal level (and knowing the material from lower levels). Having at least seven or eight years of experience and pick up the combinaisons quickly.

Musical 2024/2025 (Kids/Teens/Adults)
Adults : This class teaches the 3 disciplines (Dance, singing and Theater). We will work on the theme of “Sister Act” and will present the show in June 2025.
Meeting about this project and all the details on Friday September 6th from 20h to 21h.
If these students also want to learn to tap, other classes can be followed another day.
Children : This year, the kids will be working on the theme “The Aristocats” and will present their show in June 2025.
Kids Musical (level 1 for the 6-8 yrs) includes tap dancing.
Kids Musical (level 2 for the 9-13 yrs) doesn’t include tap dancing, but these students have the option to come 30 minuts earlier and join the tap initiation with the other group.
